I am an English PhD student and Bioethics certificate candidate at Emory University. I am a neurodiverse scholar and Chinese adoptee who works in the Health Humanities, NeuroHumanities, Cognitive Literary Studies, Neurodiversity, Neuroethics, Disability Studies, Science and Technology Studies, Narrative Ethics, the History of Psychiatry, Death and Dying, and Archival Methodologies.

I am a neuroqueer scholar with a wide range of interests including Cognitive Poetics, Queer Phenomenology, Neuroethics, Disability Justice, Narrative Medicine, and Crip Technoscience.  I have multiple ongoing projects devoted to Renée Vivien and Gertrude Stein.

I am a musicologist and Associate Professor of Medical Humanities at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (Pennsylvania).
